ECO4 Scheme?
The objective of the ECO4 Scheme is to help meet decarbonisation objectives for both properties either with or without mains gas.
The ECO4 Scheme supports energy-efficient home improvements for properties with an Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) rating of D-G.
However, energy companies can only spend 15% of their funding on Band D properties. We can only accept applications for properties with EPCs E, F, and G.

Councils can now set their own eligibility criteria on the significant factors in their local authority.

GREAT BRITISH INSULATION SCHEME (GBIS)
The Great British Insulation Scheme (GBIS) offers the opportunity to receive free or discounted insulation for your home. Home insulation can help significantly reduce your energy bills.
The Great British Insulation Scheme started in 2023 and will end in the spring of 2026. The scheme will require medium and large energy companies to fulfill certain obligations in delivering these measures.
The Great British Insulation Scheme, previously known as ECO+, aims to help households struggling with rising energy bills and poor insulation.
The Great British Insulation Scheme aims to improve the energy efficiency of the most miniature energy-efficient homes in Great Britain. The scheme addresses fuel poverty and helps to lower energy bills.
Unlike the Energy Company Obligation (ECO4) scheme, which focuses on whole-house improvements, the Great British Insulation Scheme primarily focuses on delivering individual insulation measures. It is available to low-income and vulnerable households.
To be eligible for support, your property must have an Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) rating:
D
E
F
G
Whether you are a homeowner, landlord, or tenant, you can apply for the Great British Insulation Scheme.
